Director and CEO of Niantics Lab, John Hanke, teases we may be seeing some new features in Pokémon GO. Hanke says that the ability to trade Pokémon is a “core element” and the app was designed for interactions between players in mind, which means we might see these features soon.
After about a year of anticipation, Pokémon GO is out in the wild and realizing the dream many have to become Pokémon trainers. Well, for the most part. The app doesn’t quite capture the feel of living in the wonderful world of Pokémon.
