Sony has confirmed in a Japanese blog post that Gravity Rush 2’s online service is set to end a full year after the game launched. That means on January 18th 2018, all online interaction will cease.

The game features that will no longer operate are:

  • Sending and receiving challenges
  • Ranked Leaderboards
  • Sending and receiving Treasure Hints
  • Sending, receiving and reviewing Photo Ghosts
  • Acquiring Dusty Tokens and their rewards.

As a consolation, Sony is upping the drop rate of an in-game currency known as “Dusty Tokens” which can be used to buy in-game content.
