The upgraded PlayStation 4, codenamed “Neo” will supposedly be revealed on September 7th 2016. That’s less than a month away! Sites Gameblog and Vice Gaming have reported that multiple sources that chose to remain anonymous have claimed that the PS4 Neo will be revealed at a “technical showcase” located in New York on that date.
Earlier this year, Sony Interactive Entertainment president Andrew House confirmed that The PS4 Neo does in fact exist and would not be shown at this year’s E3. Little is known about the actual console other than it being stronger than the current iteration of the PS4. This extra power could be used to bring more graphical and technical capabilities from the games played on the system and can possibly improve player’s experience with the PSVR headset.
Although the PS4 Neo was not shown at this year’s E3, Microsoft has revealed the specs for their Xbox One “Scorpio” which is a massive improvement over the current Xbox One consoles.
Will the PS4 Neo be able to stand toe-to-toe with the Xbox One Scorpio? Or will Microsoft become the new king in this half cycle monarchy? Only time will tell. But until that time comes, for anything PS4 Neo, keep searching for Hidden Item!
