Mario and Pokémon? Sign Me Up!

It seems that the drought of games plaguing most Nintendo console launches will not be happening during the launch of the Nintendo NX. In an article by MVC, much was apparently revealed about the launch games for the new system.
“Sources close to Nintendo” have revealed to MVC that there will be a new Mario game, a new Pokémon game, and the already announced Zelda game releasing within six months of the console’s launch.

The sources also claim that Nintendo has obtained more third-party support from companies such as Sega, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Activision and Warner Bros. This may not be much of a surprise, however, since we already know Sega is releasing their newest Sonic the Hedgehog title and Square Enix has spoken about bringing Dragon Quest XI to the new console.
Additional details include confirmation of the latest rumors suggesting that the console may be a handheld/home console hybrid and the graphical capabilities being somewhere between a PS3 and PS4.
While these are still rumors with no official confirmation from Nintendo themselves, it seems very likely that we already know what to expect of the latest console. But until we get official confirmation from Nintendo, take everything with a grain of salt.
