To Catch Them Is My Real Test, To Trade Them… I Might Have To Wait A While Longer
By: Zahir Perez
Director and CEO of Niantics Lab, John Hanke, teases we may be seeing some new features in Pokémon GO. Hanke says that the ability to trade Pokémon is a “core element” and the app was designed for interactions between players in mind, which means we might see these features soon.

Business Insider reports that one day trainers will be able “customize their functions” meaning that we can finally change the appearance of our avatars, same goes for customizing Pokéstops and Gyms. They also report that there will be some sort of global leader board and that the games augmented technology will be improved.

Pokémon GO might be coming to AR dedicated devices such as Microsoft HoloLens but nothing is confirmed for the time being. When the subject of AR devices came up, Hanke’s response was: “That may be a fun thing to take advantage of”.

Pokémon Go is already out and being tested by the Hidden Item team, expect a in-depth discussion of our impressions soon. For anything Pokémon GO or other gaming news, keep searching for Hidden Item!
