Green cap? Green Tunic? Blonde hair? A cartoonish design? TIGHTS?! If you guessed “Link” from The Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker, you get a gold star! Earlier today Monster Hunter‘s official twitter (@monsterhunter) released a minute long video showing us a new outfit and weapon that the Palico race can use in Monster Hunter: Generations.
This outfit showcases “Link” in his Wind Waker design and with him he brings his trusty Wind Waker as a weapon. It’s not bizarre to see The Legend Of Zelda and Monster Hunter crossover, as they have done so before in the past with titles like Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
The video also showcases other purrty actions that the Palico race can do in Monster Hunter: Generations. Fishing, digging, fighting, bouncing, climbing, throwing, creepy meowing, the whole deal. It’s nice to see Capcom and Nintendo do more crossovers and hopefully we’ll see more in the future!
