Vice President of Sales and Marketing Scott Moffit, has left Nintendo. It appears the split was on good terms as Moffit will resume his role until the end of July to ensure a “smooth transition”. Rather than find a replacement, Nintendo has decided to remove the position and split the responsibilities among the existing staff.
Moffit was employed in the past by companies such as Henkel Consumer Goods and PepsiCo. before finding his home at Nintendo. Beginning work for Nintendo in 2011, Moffit became a key player in the marketing and success of the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo 3DS.
